SAUDI GREEN was entrusted with providing advanced design and construction services (Design-Build) for the Hijaz Gate, one of the primary entrances to KING ABDULLAH ECONOMIC CITY. Envisioned to be a home for a significant population, the city's master plan encompasses 140 km of natural wadi and safeguards the lagoon, promising residents an extraordinary connection with nature. The architectural elements are meticulously proportioned, emphasizing the human scale in contrast to the grandeur of the structure. Each element showcases distinctive architectural features and meticulous attention to structural language, resulting in a truly unique work of art.

The Hijaz Gate is an amalgamation of opulent components, featuring a harmonious selection of materials that foster unprecedented artistic expressions. Natural colors are artfully employed, and sophisticated techniques are integrated into all decorative elements, contributing to the creation of a timeless and visually captivating structure.

We at Saudi Green take great pride in the recognition received by the Hijaz Gate (Design – Build) project, known as the "Smart Gate" at King Abdullah Economic City. In 2018, this project was honored with the prestigious "Intersec" global award, underscoring its exceptional design applied to the new city gate (Hejaz Gate). Following a rigorous evaluation by a neutral international jury, the Hejaz "smart" gate emerged victorious, claiming the first prize out of 150 nominated projects.
